Our weather has been unpredictable, as it has been in most of the states. We had a week or so of beautiful, sunny and warm weather, then a few days of windy, rainy weather, then a few days.....you get the picture. My unusual iris that bloomed all through December has bloomed again...but lost a flag on a windy day. The primroses have bloomed all winter, but I had to hunt for them under the weeds (which loved the time that we ignored them).
Beautiful! Although I remain officially jealous, I was just outside and found that two of my bulbs are poking through the ground (which still has snow on it).
We are in the 60's today and then a few days of rain...then 50's and 60's all over again...I guess I can live with it! I still have no hints of life...so I am so jealous when I see these...I am in love with that bottom bloom, the colors are so painterly and vivid!
Your photos are so lovely that I was able to set aside my jealousy that you *have* (we still can't see the ground!) flowers and just drink in the sweetness of spring.

Sweet spring... aren't iris supposed to bloom later in the season.
I love primulas.....hope mine survived the winter!
Beautiful closeups of your primulas...I'm still enjoying my inside primula and hope I can keep it alive til spring allows transplantation!
