#128 Generous

These are some of the flowers that are in bloom now in California's central valley. The iris has been blooming regularly since December, even through the coldest weather. The cyclamen blooms here all winter, but this one is more vivid since it gets the afternoon sun. The redbud tree is in our daughter's yard. The bees were all over it!

Beautiful blooms. I really like the way you frame and name the flowers. These would make a wonderful scrapbook of flowers.

Stunning flowers. I agree - am glad you name the flowers. I am really bad at knowing what plants are called. Getting a little better now that I have a garden. I like the top one the best - the orange is just stunning.

Love all these flowers...especially the freesia in the next post...their colors are so appealing. I am always amazed to see cyclamen growing outside in a garden since they are houseplants here in the midwest. Gorgeous photos.

The oragne of the poppy looks like the inside of a flame.
