#359 White

This is my white camellia. I have forgotten the 'real' name of it. It is unusual in that the center petals don't open....well I once saw one that did. They don't last very long before the petals get brown.

Each shot is lovelier than the one before. Hard to pick but I think the bottom one is my favorite--those soft colors glow in a subdued sort of way.

You captured it's true white and that is not easy to do! Simply beautiful!

They are so many buds on that bush, no wonder the the flowers don't open fully. They certainly are very attractive and so snowy white.

I bet it smells wonderful, had a small one of those as potplant many years ago but it did not like my care....
